TRAVEL BLOG

Caoayan is a town that is near to the Heritage City of Vigan. It is referred to as the Birthplace of Abel, the Ilocanos' traditional handwoven material. One such popular weaving shop here is Pagabelan ni Tinay, where local weavers continues the tradition of making Abel on wooden looms and colorful threads. When I went to visit Pagabelan ni Tinay, I was able to witness how the weavers patiently worked on their designs. Their hands moved slowly, making patterns that shows both skill and imagination. It takes hours or days to complete one piece of fabric. They produce blankets, scarves, bags, and other items that capture the culture and diligence of Caoayan people. Although Abel weaving began in Caoayan, it has also become part of Vigan's heritage. There are still some of the weaving shops in Vigan that produce Abel to promote Ilocano craftsmanship to foreigners. It proves how Caoayan and Vigan work together in continuing this lovely tradition. Besides weaving, Vigan is also known...

TEACHERS DAY

Image
Teachers are heroes who help us become better people. They teach us right from wrong and provide us with constant guidance. They are tolerant and kind, even when we make mistakes. They inspire us to follow our dreams by giving us bravery, hope, and support. For this reason, in my opinion, educators are really heroes. For everything they do, my teachers have my sincere gratitude. Just to teach us, they arrive early in the morning and remain late into the evening. I try to behave nicely in class and do well in school as a sign of respect. Sometimes, to make people happy, I write thank-you notes or say kind things. To make them happy, a simple "thank you" will do.

INTRAMURALS

Students that participate in intramural sports improve their physical literacy, cooperation, teamwork, social skills, and general health.  Being involved in intramural sports has several benefits, including teaching us discipline and sportsmanship, humility, and respect for opponents, organizers, and the rules.  Second, you can develop your social skills and make lots of friends.  Finally, there is increased school spirit.  By giving kids a stronger sense of connection and belonging, intramural sports help to foster a positive school culture. My experience in the intramurals ml edition we played ml and lost on our first match thats all.
